PM Shehbaz Sharif goes to Belarusia on the official two -day visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed on Thursday for an official two -day visit to Belarusia for the invitation of President Aleksandr Lukashenko.

During the visit, Sharif will hold high -level conversations with Lukashenko to review bilateral cooperation and explore new paths of participation between the two countries.

The authorities say that the visit is expected to be in the signing of several agreements aimed at promoting trade, investment and diplomatic ties.

The trip follows a series of recent high -level exchanges, including the eighth session of the Joint Ministerial Commission held in February, which prepared the scenario for deeper cooperation.

Sharif is accompanied by the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, the Minister of Information, Attaullah Tarar, special assistant of the Prime Minister Tariq Fatmi and other senior officials.

The visit of the prime minister occurs less than six months after the official trip of President Lukashenko to Islamabad in November last year.
