Being arrested two weeks before being professional is not ideal, but that is the situation with the open receiver of Texas Isaiah Bond.
The 21 -year -old was given to the police on Thursday with an order of sexual assault. He published a bail of $ 25,000 and has been released.

The details of the accusations are not known, but Bond called them “obviously false.”
“Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and the opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, obviously false,” Bond wrote in X. “I am in full cooperation with the authorities and I will continue to be a willing and active participant in the investigation.”
“Unfortunately, claims how these prove to be harmful to all involved, in the absence of a complete review. I kindly request that everyone reserve the trial until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence.”

Bond spent his last university season with the Longhorns after Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell went to the NFL. He caught 34 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns. He declared for the NFL Draft shortly after the Longhorns were eliminated from the University Soccer playoff by the eventual Ohio State National Champion, to whom they open the season.
Before going to Texas, Bond spent his first two university seasons in Alabama. His final touchdown in a Tide of Tide Crimson came from Jalen Milroe in a 4th and 31 with 32 seconds on the road against Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
