Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday to the interested authorities to provide a level game field for local industries and incorporate the proposals of industrial and commercial organizations in the next federal budget.
The Prime Minister, presiding over a review meeting on the export facilitation schema (EFS), said that increasing country exports to boost national income was among government priorities.
During the meeting, intermediate recommendations of the committee were presented to make the scheme more effective and benefit the export sector.
The prime minister instructed for an additional consultation with the relevant experts on the recommendations of the Committee to improve the scheme to facilitate the import of raw materials and machinery for export -oriented industries.
He addressed the committee to finish his provisional recommendations after more consultations and present the report soon.
