- Reddit Answers is getting the integration of Google Gemini
- The next Reddit AI platform will extract the results of Google AI
- Currently in Beta in the United States, Reddit Answers does not have a release date so far
Reddit responds, the next AI platform, is receiving an important update that adds integration with Google Gemini.
Reddit Answers uses almost endless knowledge driven by the AI and Reddit community to provide quick answers to any question. Think about Ai Quora or Yahoo’s answers in the past.
The new AI platform is currently in Beta, and is now improving even more before its official launch to the general public.
“Integrating the search for the Google Cloud VERTEX along with the technology built by Reddit in Reddit Answers, we are bringing the same innovation that drives Google to our users,” said Matt Snelham, infrastructure SVP, Reddit.
“Users are seeing a better search relevance and, as a result, we have seen growth in users who navigate directly to Reddit’s home page through Reddit’s responses, increasing the participation of the platform.”
Reddit Answers is currently available for beta testers on web and iOS devices in the United States, the service was initially launched in December 2024, and we still do not have an official release date.
Adding Gemini to the mixture gives Reddit answers an additional credibility thanks to the impressive Google AI models. Although it has not yet been seen if Reddit users will take the new AI skills or not.
A Reddit user, Panxma, said three months ago in a thread: “I feel that the thing of the answers eliminates the appearance of the Reddit community. I probably do not use the thing since I only look in Google what I need and find a Reddit publication instead of asking the same.”
Now that Reddit Answers has the integration of Google Gemini, perhaps those who go to Google mass to find Reddit publications will be more inclined to use Reddit’s AI.
I am excited by Reddit’s answers
As an avid Reddit user who goes to the platform to answer most of the random questions that appear in my brain, I am quite intrigued by a chatbot of AI that extracts from the appearance of the Reddit community and fuses it with Google Gemini.
Reddit has not yet confirmed when, or yes, a beta version of answers will be launched in the United Kingdom, but I am waiting patiently to try the Chatbot AI.
However, I share the same feeling as the previous Reddit user. One of the best things on the website to start is the ability to obtain information from a wide variety of people from all areas of life.
Bringing to the mixture feels like Reddit’s antithesis, and I am interested in seeing how it works without losing what makes Reddit great in the first place.
Google Gemini Integration is a great update for Reddit’s responses, now only the platform starts so that we can all try it.
