The 89th Masters tournament begins in Augusta
The former PGA Tour golfer, Jerry Pate, who finished the Top 5 in the Masters twice, joins Fox & Friends first “to discuss their predictions for the annual tournament, since the players are ready to send in Augusta, Georgia.
Jon Rahm was once the number 1 golfer in the world, but after winning the masters in 2023, he has fought to stay competitive in the elders who came below.
On Thursday, Rahm had some bad breaks and almost broke his club when he led a t -shirt blow in the ninth hole to his right and the forest. Rahm knew exactly what happened and let the club come out of his hands when the ball retired.

The club almost broke on his knee before thinking that he might need the club for the rest of his round.
The first round of the masters ended shooting 3 superses and was tied in 63rd position. He loaded five bogeys.
Datagolf.com projected that 3-over could be the cutting line to reach the last two days of the tournament, with a probability of almost 30% that is reduced to +4 and around 20% chance of moving to +2.
Rahm was one of PGA Tour’s few golfers who joined Liv Golf in recent years. It is third this season in the LIV golf classification. He ended up tied secondly at Riad and had not abandoned the Top 10 throughout the season.

Joaquin Niemann and Sergio García are Nos. 1 and 2 respectively in the classification this season.
Rahm ended up tied for the 45th in the Masters last year. He spoke at the beginning of the week about the pressure he has felt in the middle of the strip and loosen between the PGA and the Liv golf.
“There were sometimes in which there were many questions that I really didn’t have an answer, and I tried, and I really didn’t,” he said, through Atlético. “Something like that … the state of the game and what is happening. We don’t know it. No one knows it. We all want a solution, and it is difficult to give one.”
