Bruce Miller is the showrunner of The history of the siren and his next sequel, The wills.
In an interview with EWThe creator opened about his thoughts on how to make the new show.
First, he said he did not want any of his shows to be dictated mutually. “I did not want the wills to give the history of Handmaid, and I did not want the history of Handmaid to dictate will. Some of the characters overlap, but it is a different world.”
Otherwise, he explained how different both shows are. “The history of Handmaid is about the life of a maid. This woman who was taken from her life and pushed into the absolute background in Gilead and told her that nothing was worth.”
He continued, she wasn’t even a woman, she was just a uterus, and seeing her defend himself and maintaining her humanity. [Testaments] It’s about someone at the top in Gilead. “
Meanwhile, Bruce confirmed that the testament is in pre -production, while casting has also ended.
