Rawalpindi:
The programmed hearing of the case of Toshakhana II against the founder of PTI Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, which will be held in the Adiala jail on Monday (today), once canceled. A new date will be announced, according to the lawyer of the founder of PTI, Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry.
Chaudhry said on Sunday that the court staff had informed PTI’s lawyers that the court would now meet in the Islamabad judicial complex, where the new hearing date would be established. The last hearing in the case was held on February 17.
He commented that the rhythm of legal procedures against the founder of PTI varied significantly.
“Sometimes the cases push forward at the speed of lightning, while in other times they proceed at a rhythm of a snail,” he said.
