The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will probably be released in July, and a sign that it is approaching is that it has been seen in a comparative evaluation site, revealing some details about the phone in the process.
Leaker Tarun Vats (through Phone Arena) has found a Geekbench list for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, and mentions Android 16, that, if the phone is released in July, it would mean that it is likely to be one of the first phones with Android 16.
That is quite fast for Samsung, taking into account that the company still does not have Android 15 in most of its phones, but it is something that we have heard more than once, so there is a good opportunity for Android 16 (with the Samsung One Ui 8 overlap 8) it will really be available at the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the launch.

A faster but without increasing chipset
This reference point also mentions 12 GB of RAM, which is the same amount you will find in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. Therefore, it would be good to see Samsung increase this, but since the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra also has 12 GB, we really do not expect to see more than that here.
Finally, it has a motherboard that appears as “Sun”, which is the name in Snapdragon 8 Elite code, so that is probably the chipset that this phone will use.
That is good but not surprising, good because that is the most powerful chipset currently available for Android phones. It is not surprising because the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 6 used the previous generation of this chipset (the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3).
Both the amount of RAM and the chipset have also been previously leaked, so there are really no surprises here, but this is just a more evidence that suggests that these are the specifications we will obtain.
We will probably discover it safely in July, but they are attentive to PakGazette meanwhile for additional leaks and rumors.
