The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has reviewed its guidelines for age modification requests on national identity cards for Pakistani abroad (Nicop).
The updated rules allow applicants to request changes through the Pak ID mobile application, in the Nadra OA offices through Pakistani embassies abroad.
Eligibility and documentation
Eligibility for age changes depends on the degree of modification and support documents:

Up to five years (just for the first time) – Requires a Pakistani passport, a registration certificate, a recent brand sheet or a service book.

Changes for the second time (up to 366 days) – You need a Pakistani or foreign passport, resident permit or matrix certificate.

Age changes based on birth certificates – Allowed up to a year using interior or foreign birth records.

Age difference of antinatural brothers (under seven months) – Up to a year of change allowed without documents.

Nadra has established variable rates based on the requested age difference:
