“Certainly, I think that everyone in our team, in some way, has had a relationship at different levels with Kyren. Everyone will deal with that differently. First, understanding that there is no way that you are supposed to feel,” Kelly said. “We greatly support ourselves in our professional advice department. Having that resource here allows them to look for that kind of individual conversation that some may need. You want to provide the opportunity for their players to have those resources if they in fact need them.”
Kelly spoke very well about his former receiver, whom he called a “bright star.”
“I had an incredible personality. I will remember it as someone who had a love for the game, a love for being a tiger, and it was a guy who played with great emotion. When you think of Kyren, you will smile most of the time due to the way it was handled. It was a full type of energy, and I think many of their teammates will remember it like that.”
