The United Kingdom’s appliances market classic, the vacuum cleaner Henry Canister, has two new older brothers. And ‘Big’ is the operational word here, because Henry Home XL and XLTra are cleaning beasts, each offers a massive capacity of 15 liters (for context, a standard Henry has 6L and most stick vacuum cleaners remain under 1L).
If you want something agile and light, this will not be the best vacuum for you. Henry XL models are built for large cleansing and heavy -duty tasks (such as DIY waste) that would see a regular vacuum career screaming horror.
Actually, these are not the only largest Henrys in the market, but where the new additions really stand out is with their detailed tools. Henry Home XL has a massive range, designed to face any cleaning task. There is a floor head, especially for carpet (the Airobrush), one for any type of hard floor and a fuel floor tool that can make a variety of types of floors. There is also a mini floor head for upholstery and stairs (Airobrush 140).
Beyond the floor heads, you will obtain a long and flexible crack tool for narrow spaces such as on the back of the radiators, a multiple angle tool that can be folded to board uncomfortable areas such as shelves and bannisters, and a generous 1.5 m extension hose for points so that you do not need to load the part of the can on the stairs or in the back seat of the car. (The extra XL has a wide range of tools, but lacks the last two).
Bigger, better, packed?
These vacuum cleaners will not be for everyone, but they definitely have an important place in the market in general. While today’s best wireless stick vacuum cleaners offer impressive maneuverability and freedom, they have their inconveniences. Wireless vacuum cleaners tend to be less robust and have a much shorter useful life than cable vacuum cleaners.
Having a dust bag may also seem outdated, but there are also great benefits there. In a battle of aspirations without a bag without a bag, the first tends to be better for large cleaning tasks thanks to a greater dust capacity (certainly the case with the new Henryys). They are also the superior choice for allergy lovers, because it is much more difficult for dust to escape the air during the emptying.
Bags in bags can also sometimes deal with fine debris such as the ash of the fireplace or plaster dust, while with the vacuumboats without bag, you can easily enter the engine and make everything go to Kaput. Henry Home XL and XL Xtra are specifically built to handle DIY waste.
Henry Home XL costs £ 199.99 and is available to buy Henry exclusively. The XL Xtra costs £ 189.99 and you can also buy directly from Henry, but it is not exclusive, so presumably will appear in some third -party retailers in a short time.
