Ed McCaffrey wants the world to know that his family is still loyal to Taylor Swift after his wife briefly boycotted his music more than a year ago.
Before the confrontation of the Super Bowl Lviii of the San Francisco 49ers against Travis Kelce and the bosses of Kansas City last February, Lisa McCaffrey, mother of the star corridor of the 49ers, Christian McCaffrey, announced that he would not hear Swift’s music in the weeks before the game.
“I refuse to listen to Taylor Swift songs during the next few days,” Lisa said in his podcast of Olivia Culpo, “Your Mom”, last February.
“I love her, I love the relationship, but we are boycuting any songs on T. Swift,” added the mother. “If you appear at the radio station … no. She is dead for us this week.”

The 49ers lost that Super Bowl in an extra time of 25-22, as Swift celebrated with Kelce in the field while Christian had to accept defeat.
Even so, the McCaffrey family has remained fast fans after the loss.
Ed, Christian’s father and Lisa’s husband, demonstrated this loyalty in an interview with Pak Gazette Digital. During the video interview, Ed took the camera to the family of the family to show a wall decoration of Taylor Swift.
“In terms of being a fan of Taylor Swift, that’s at our house,” Ed said about decoration. “My Lisa wife has probably been one of Taylor Swift’s greatest fans despite the fact that she is dating Travis Kelce … and obviously the 49ers had to play them in the Super Bowl, Lisa is an incredible fanatic, she is such a phenomenal artist.

Ed insisted that “there are no problems” between the McCaffrey and Swift family, despite the widely publicized comments of Lisa last year.
“I don’t know why it was a big problem at that time … I don’t even remember what it was,” Ed said. “Just to rest that matter, we were fans long before he was dating Travis Kelce, and I don’t even remember what happened to the Super Bowl, but there are certainly no problems here in the McCaffrey family.”
But while Swift can still have the affection of the McCaffrey family, other NFL fans may have become sour of the ascending presence of the pop star in the sport in the last two seasons.

When Swift attended the most recent appearance of the Super Bowl of the Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles this February, he was brutally booed by the fans who attended when he was shown in the Jumbotron during the game. The Chiefs lost the game 40-22.
President Donald Trump, who also attended the game, took the opportunity to make fun of Truth Social after the game.
