The Department of Contrarrorism (CTD) Sindh carried out an intelligence -based operation in the Sachal de Karachi area, stopping an alleged terrorist associated with the separatist group forbidden Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (MRS), the authorities confirmed on Tuesday.
According to the CTD spokesman, the operation was carried out near the severe cement in police housing 33 within the jurisdiction of the Sachal Police Station.
The suspect, identified as Sajjad Shar aka Babloo, son of Ghulam Abbas, was arrested and illegal firearms were recovered from his possession.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Sajjad Shar was a nearby assistant of Mrs. Asghar Ali Shah and Noor Ahmed Chandio commanders.
He was previously arrested in cases related to murder, attempted murder and possession of explosive materials.
The authorities said he acted as a link, passing instructions from the leadership of Mrs. agents, including Ghulam Shabbir Mallah and Bashir Shar.
The CTD declared that the suspect was involved in the recruitment of young people for MRS activities and encouraging them to participate in separatist meetings.
He is also accused of recognition made of confidential locations in Karachi and Interior Sindh, sharing the information with his network.
The authorities said the suspect was planning an FDI attack near a railway in Bohar, Hyderab district, under the orders of the Mrs. commanders.

More arrests are expected based on intelligence extracted from the suspect.
