“Let this be a warning: California, Minnesota and their tastes, if it does not comply with the federal law, it cannot reap the benefits of complying with the federal law,” he said. “Of course, one of those benefits receives federal funds. Women are protected and recognized according to federal law, again, that the law is title IX.

“The United States government, including the Department of Justice, including the Department of Education, will not be maintained and ignored when the rights of women and girls protected federally are violated.”

Gaines, who houses the podcast “Gaines for Girls” of Outkick, said the moment between Maine Janet Mills and President Donald Trump during his dispute in February “became viral for all the right reasons.”

She made it clear that Trump was a “man of his promises and that is what we have seen.”

“Promises made, promises were maintained,” he said.

Bondi announces a lawsuit against Maine for refusing to prohibit trans athletes from girls’ sports

Bondi’s demand occurred when Maine refused to change her transinclusion policies when it came to allowing transgender athletes in girls and women’s sports.

Stephanie Turner, who recently caught viral attention on the issue of trans inclusion in the fencing of women with a clip of their kneeling in protest of a trans opponent, was also in the press conference.

“The Department of Justice will not sit when women are discriminated against in sports,” Bondi said at a press conference. “… what has happened is horrible.”

“We want states to comply with us,” Bondi added.

Bondi said they were looking for a court order and that the titles returned to the girls that “legitimately” won competitions in which trans athletes participated.

Legislators in California have rejected legislation to prohibit biological men in girls and women’s sports. A Democratic state legislator compared the prohibition with the practices used by Nazi Germany in the Holocaust.

Minnesota legislators have not managed to prohibit biological men from girls and women’s sports. A legislator said it was similar to the “genocide sanctioned by the State.”
