At least three people died and eight other wounds in rain -related incidents after strong downpours and thunderstorms in the districts of Rawalpindi and Jhelum, said Express News.
In Jhelum’s Sohawa Tehsil, two people lost their lives and four were injured when a boundary wall collapsed in a charger vehicle in Shaheedan Mohalla. The injured were transferred to a hospital in Rawalpindi, where two remain critical.
There were two additional wall collapse incidents in the nearby areas of Pindi and Sohala. In Dervaisa, a woman suffered serious injuries, while in Sohala, a child and a young man were reported seriously injured after being beaten by the fall of rubble.
In the amal area of Ratta Rawalpindi, a 24 -year -old man identified as Musa died after a mosque wall collapsed, burying him under the rubble. He was a resident of the Hazara neighborhood. The body was transferred to a local hospital for additional procedures.
Local authorities have warned about continuous climate volatility and urged residents to remain cautious, especially in areas prone to storms and structurally vulnerable.
