After being fired by Stanford University for accusations of intimidation and contempt personnel, Troy Taylor said he has been portrayed “unfairly” and was fired “without cause.”
Taylor was investigated for the first time more than a year ago, which led him to sign a warning letter on February 14 and a second investigation that ended on July 24.
However, in a statement published on Wednesday, Taylor said he has not been subject to other complaints since then and even lost an increase “for the good of the team.”

“For 30 years, I have been a coach and educator at the secondary and school level. I have had great success in the team with each program that I have trained, without a single problem or complaint about my treatment of others. I applied the same approach and values to a Stanford program that deals with some agitation,” Taylor said.
Taylor said both investigations were “incorrectly revealed” to the media. The first investigation, Taylor said, was about “a complaint from an Athletic administrator who said I tried to eliminate her as our football administrator for an unfair reason.”
Taylor said that “I did not agree with the complaint”, but “he took it seriously and cooperated completely.” The investigation, Taylor said, “concluded that it did not acted unfairly,” and gave it an extension and increased at the end of next February “because they told me we were building something special.”

Stanford declined to comment to Pak Gazette Digital in response to Taylor’s statement.
Taylor had 3-9 in his two seasons as Stanford chief coach. Frank Reich was recently hired as an interim coach.
