Islamabad:
The Law Minister, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, held a meeting with presidents and secretaries of several lawyer associations of the Sargodha division.
The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss issues related to the upcoming elections of the Provincial Lawyers scheduled for this year.
When addressing the concerns, the minister categorically left that the laws of the Provincial Bar Association will not be made amendments. He stressed that the elections will be held in time in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
The meeting also included a discussion on current and future development projects for the legal community.
Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar reiterated the government’s commitment to support legal fraternity and announced subsidies to several lawyer associations.
These financial grants will help in the development and renewal projects of the bars offices, ensuring a more conducive work environment for lawyers.
