The Elon Musk Government Efficiency Department (Doge) has sent a key program of the United States government focused on efficiency, innovation and packaging of rapid technology solutions in Silicon Valley style.
Almost all staff of the Digital Defense Service (DSS) has confirmed that they are renouncing as a result of the Dux pressure, with many of the responsibilities of the DSS to be assumed by the main digital and artificial intelligence office.
The DSS has been a key source of innovation and new technological adoption in the Pentagon during the last decade, presenting numerous technological remedies during the United States withdrawal of the AID transfer programs of Afghanistan and Ukraine of help.

Of the 14 employees that make up the DSS office, 11 plan to take the deferred renunciation package of Trump at the end of April. The director of DSS, Jennifer, plans to leave before May 1, and the remaining two employees plan to resign also.
One of the main responsibilities of the DSS was to introduce fast track technology during national security incidents to help the Pentagon quickly react to developing situations.
While DSS’s responsibilities will be transmitted to another department, it is not clear how long it will take in the main office of digital and artificial intelligence to assume DSS responsibilities, which potentially puts the security of the Pentagon at risk.
Many within the DSS office expected to be part of Doge’s efforts to improve the efficiency of the pentagon and introduce new AI technologies, however, Musk transmitted them, with hay declaring “the reason why we caught it while we have done it is that we thought we would call ourselves.”

This is not the first modernization and innovation program that faces Doge ax, with the US digital service and the 18F program are subject to shooting and layoffs under Doge pressure.
A former Pentagon official who spoke Political Under anonymity, he commented on Dege’s foray to improve the efficiency of the Department of Defense, stating: “They are not really using AI, they are not really promoting efficiency. What they are doing is breaking everything.”
