The 24 -year -old girlfriend of Bill Belichicks, Jordon Hudson, will compete in the Miss Maine USA beauty contest in May. Hudson ended as the first finalist in the contest last year.
“As daughter of displaced fishermen, I care to use my voice to protect the fleeting tradition and heritage of Maine’s fishing families, to prevent others from going through the same difficult situation as what mine had to happen,” Hudson wrote on Instagram.

One of Hudson’s competitors will be the Trans Isabelle St. Cyr model.

“When I began to cheer up, I had all the chances against me. So much setback, so many people told me that it was not a space for me. But I struggled what I loved and ended up being a very successful animator, winning state and national titles and inspiring people to join even if they had not been doing it all their lives all my life,” St. Cy wrote in a Facebook post on March 25.
“I feel a similar trajectory on my continuous trip with competitions. I think I have everything I need to be Miss Maine USA and I know that no amount of experience can match a true passion and impulse to achieve something.”

St. Cyr said he entered the contest before Trump’s inauguration and before the issue of transgender athletes became a problem in Maine, according to Maine’s total coverage.
The presence of Hudson, and potentially Belichick in the competition will only rejoice the national attention to it.
