Security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence -based operation (IBO) in the Maddi area of the District of Ismail Khan, public relations between services (ISPR) said Thursday.
The operation, launched on April 16, followed the confirmed intelligence on the presence of militants in the region. There was a fierce fire exchange, which resulted in the death of the four terrorists, who, according to the reports, were linked to multiple attacks in the area.
Weapons and ammunition recovered from the site, according to the ISPR.
During the shooting, Sepay Basit Siddique, 23, from the Attock district, hugged martyrdom. The ISPR praised his courage, declaring: “Having fought gallantly, [he] He paid the last sacrifice and hugged Shahadat. “
A disinfecting operation is currently being carried out to eliminate any remaining threat in the area.
“Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism from the country, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers even more strengthen our resolution,” the statement concluded.
