Only around 12,500 reservations were completed successfully through the Saudi portal designated before the authorities said.

The sources within the ministry indicated that the Saudi authorities refused to extend the term, despite the appeals. The Government had allowed private tour operators to begin transferring funds to Saudi Arabia as of January 10, but many operators did not comply with the February 14 limit.
