Roman Reigns and Donald Trump have a surprising feature in common: both are legends of the WWE.
Reigns, of course, is a former world champion in the business and again head Wrestlemania this weekend. Triumph? He is actually a member of the WWE Hall of Fame.
Yes, before becoming president, Trump was actually the host of WrestleMania IV and V, and went against Vince McMahon in the battle of billionaires in Wrestlemania 23. That fight turned out that Trump helped shave McMahon’s head.

Eighteen years later, Reigns will fight CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match at night, one of the event this Saturday in Las Vegas.
And before that fight, Reigns, whose real name is Joe Anoa’i, said “supports[s]”Trump, despite being a democrat recorded in the state of Florida.

“Support to our president. Trump is one of those guys where he has a great history and great experience,” said Reigns, who said the election for the 2024 elections was “very clear,” said Vanity Fair. “He has been in entertainment. He has been in large companies, politics. At this point, I am supporting a brilliant future for our country. Positive and competent leadership. For us to be what we are supposed to be, be a world leader and bring that respect and do what a worldwide power like us should be doing.”
Reigns criticized Trump for choosing battles with political rivals, saying that Trump “needs that adversary.”
“You need that opposition to bounce. You need that competitive motivation or something,” he added.
