University Soccer: Bill Belichick steals 4 star recruit from Deion Sanders


Bill Belichick and the Tar Heels of North Carolina have brought another superior talent for the 2025-26 season, and the player comes from the Coach Prime program in Colorado.

The open receiver Adrian Wilson told ON3 that he is transferring to UNC to join Belichick for his inaugural season in Chapel Hill.

Wilson was one of Deion Sanders’s main recruits for his Buffaloes program, but entered the transfer portal on Wednesday. Belichick jumped to land the four -star recruit classified as receiver No. 32 in the 2025 class.

Belichick and their staff have been active building their list through the transfer portal, and caught the former Nebraska and Missouri Mikai Gbayor supporter earlier this week.

The Tar Heels also brought three former defensive players of the Washington Huskies thanks to the coach’s son, Steve Belichick, who served as a defensive coordinator in Washington before joining his father in Chapel Hill.
