Islamabad:
Pakistan and Hungary agreed on Thursday to strengthen bilateral cooperation in different fields, including diplomacy, culture and cultural heritage, in addition to reiterating mutual support for peace and multilateralism.
The bilateral ties were discussed at a meeting between the Vice Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Péter Szijjártó trade, who reached an official visit. Both leaders also led their respective sides in the conversations at the delegation level that followed the signing of cooperation agreements in different sectors.
Give giving full pressure stakeout after their meeting and conversations, said that Pakistan and Hungary wanted to strengthen cooperation in agriculture, medical care, information technology and industrial manufacturing, citing great potential.
He said that both countries commemorated the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year, an association that has flourished in the political, economic, scientific and cultural spheres.
Calling Pakistan and Hungary trusted friends, with ties rooted in the shared understanding of peace and development, said that both parties discussed improve cooperation and address regional and global challenges.
Give reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthen ties under the “Eastern Opening Policy” of Hungary, developed under Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and align closely with Pakistan’s own vision.
Dar expressed his gratitude for Hungary continuous support to the GSP+ scheme and said that the MOU and the agreements signed during the visit would give a new impulse to cultural ties.
He said that both countries signed an agreement to abolish visa requirements for diplomatic passport holders, further deepening government to government and people.
The Vice Primer Minister told the media that during the meeting, he stressed the position of Pakistan’s principles on Jammu and Kashmir and reiterated firm support for the Palestinian cause based on the solution of two states.
He informed the Hungarian delegation about the situation in Afghanistan and associated security challenges.
Both parties emphasized the need for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine and the importance of constructive dialogue.
In his comments, Hungarian Minister Péter Szijjártó welcomed the signing of the agreement to abolish the visa requirements for diplomatic passport holders and expressed Hungary desire to intensify bilateral relations.
He stressed that mutual respect should guide international politics and that critical and critical attitudes had led to problems in global politics. He said that instead of dividing in blocks, international politics should promote connectivity.

Hungary Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, asked Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday and discussed issues of bilateral and regional interest.
Hungarian Foreign Minister was on an official visit to Pakistan.
During the meeting, the prime minister conveyed his good wishes to Prime Minister Viktor Orban and affirmed Pakistan’s desire to strengthen his bilateral relations with Hungary in several sectors, including trade, investment and energy. He also reiterated his invitation to Prime Minister Orban to make an official visit to Pakistan.
