Sindh Youth to travel abroad for education, jobs

The Sindh Prime Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah held separate meetings with Rana Mashhood, president of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program and the Federal Minister of Religious Affairs to discuss relevant issues for his domains.

In its meeting with Rana Mashhood, the CM discussed the strengthening of the coordination between the Prime Minister’s Youth Program and the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs of Sindh.

They agreed that through this collaboration, the young people of Sindh would have the opportunity to travel to different countries for employment, educational exchanges and exposure visits.

Mashhouse informed the principal minister in the newly released Digital Youth Hub, an initiative designed to connect young people with employment opportunities in the public and private sectors. He shared the vision of sending young Pakistani abroad and highlighted the global demand of Pakistan trained professionals.

Anti-political campaign

The main minister, who presents a meeting of the Provincial Task Force for the eradication of the polio, said that the province has reported four cases of polyomyelitis in 2025, compared to 23 in 2024 and 2 in 2023, therefore, there is a need for greater coordination between all districts in preparation for the next national days of immunization (NIDS) scheduled from April 21 to 27, 2025.

“Our efforts this year should focus on ensuring that each child receives the polio vaccine,” he said.

The provincial Minister of Health, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, informed the meeting that four current cases have been identified in Badin, Larkana, Kambar and Thatta Dsitricts.

Dr. Azra Pechuho highlighted the need for sustained monitoring in the communities affected by erroneous information.

IFC delegation

The prime minister met with a delegation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), in the CM House. The delegation was directed by Mrs. Linda Rudo Munyengeterwa, Director of Public-Private Associations, Privatizations and Counseling of Corporate Finance, Global IFC, to discuss urban mobility, water and sanitation projects.
