CM asks the assistants to prepare the artists’ well -being scheme

Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif ordered the preparation of a program for the well -being of artists in the province.

When addressing the Punjab Culture Day ceremony in the Alhamra Arts Council, he said: “I want to do something special for the well -being of Punjab artists to give an example.”

She asked the provincial principal minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and the Minister of Information, Azma Zahid Bokhari, who attribute a program for the welfare of the artists. The prime minister said: “Everyone should be proud to speak and be called Punjabi. I have an immense love on the ground, people, music, traditions and culture of Punjab.”

She added: “I love Pakistan, since I am a patriotic Pakistani. During my exile, I used to cry remembering the fragrance of the Punjab soil in the rain. Young people must learn English, but they must speak the Punjabi language with pride. Punjab and Punjabi are our identity, we cannot forget it.”

She said: “After many decades, a series of fairs in Punjab has resumed. The horse and cattle show resumed after 30 years and people enjoyed it for two weeks. Mela Chiaghan was revived after many years.”
