The Federal Government led by PML-N has in principle to present the budget of the next fiscal year before Eidul Azha, which is expected to be held on June 7.

According to sources from the Ministry of Finance, the Government is likely to call the Parliament Budget session a few days before in view of EID.

You can present the next budget between June 3 and 5. They said that the process to approve the money bill will begin immediately after EID holidays.

They said that before presenting the budget, the government authorities will consult with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) whose mission will arrive in Pakistan on May 14.

They said that the Government will try to obtain the IMF’s approval on the annual tax revenues and development objectives, etc.

The Minister of Finance, Muhammad Aurengzeb, will also fly to the United States to attend the annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank.

These meetings are scheduled in Washington on April 21 and April 26.
