Say that the last episode of Yellow vests Season 3 was a murderer would be a euphemism: it was a very dramatic end, often surprising and very violent not only for the season, but also for some of the key characters.
WARNING: Grave spoilers ahead!
If you have not seen the third full season of one of the best shows of Paramount+, do not continue reading, because there were some important things at the end of the season I want to talk about, and to explain them I will have to include some mass spoilers.
Trust me: moderating any of the surprises for you is definitely No What the desert wants.
Misty’s smile was a bad direction
One of the most disturbing parts of Yellow vests‘The first episode was what happened immediately after the horrible death of Pit Girl, who, of course, now we know how to be Mari.
There is a persistent moment in the pilot where, after cannibalism, the camera focuses on Misty and does not seem upset; It seems happy, with what you could describe as a smile or a smile.
It turns out that it was a bad direction: we were prepared to think that Misty was ruthless or even evil, and in successive seasons that was reinforced by the animosity between her and Mari. But now we know that Shauna, not Misty, was the person who made sure Mari would be a girl in boxes.
Seeing Misty’s smile in context at the end of season 3 showed us the true story: Misty was smiling because she knew her and nat, escape to make that phone call on the repaired satellite phone, had worked.
Shauna’s crown is hollow
In the final moments we see that Shauna becomes the queen of antlers, who of course you saw. But that coronation is a bad direction again, because it is already a hollow victory: the Yellowjackets are turning against Shauna in both timelines due to their shocking actions.
Of course, we know that he returns home in the timeline of the 1990s, because if he did not, then we would not have the current Shauna to be horrified.
But with Misty and even Tai now aligned against her, I really don’t expect a happy ending for Shauna’s story. No less important because …
Callie is a murderer
Among the many revelations of the end, one of the greatest is the identity of the Lottie murderer: Callie. When Misty solves everything, it is not slow to tell Jeff and Shauna. Jeff realizes that Shauna is, to say it gently, not the greatest model to follow that Callie could have, and the spirit.
But something strange happened in the end when Shauna finds empty cabinets and without signs of a note: nothing.
After a full season in which Callie and Jeff’s characters became really important, their story simply stops. We are not wisely about where they are or what they are making Shauna.
I think it is a third little direction. I think we will see much more from Callie in the fourth season, and that this will not be good news for Shauna.
Remember, this is a show about teenagers who murder people, and Mari’s last words were “you deserve all the bad things that will happen to you” … Are you thinking about what I am thinking?
