The president of Friday, on Friday, the president proposed on Friday a president of the party of the parts of the peoples of Pakistan (PPP-HRC) proposed a four-point solution to address the continuous problems of water in the country, demanding the Federal Government to obtain the controversial project of the Indo Channels.
Speaking at a press conference together with the secretary general of PPP-HRC, Maliaka Raza, Vice President Zulqarnain Ashghar and the member Samina Salam, Babar warned that building new channels in the Punjab, threatening Sindh in the middle of a general water shortage, was an “irresponsible and irresponsible” movement.
Babar proposed to declare an emergency of national drought in the country, a change of huge infrastructure development projects to water conservation and improved water management, solid population policies and the end of the culture of elite capture.
“The construction of six new channels in Punjab that does not take into account the vital interest of the lower riverside and destroys its agriculture and farmers is a case of elite capture of state resources instead of disharmony between the provinces,” said the former senator.
