Islamabad:
The PTI has strongly condemned the PPP for its “hypocritical posture” on the controversial channel projects.
The former ruling party alleged that while the PPP publicly criticized the water crisis regime, it was secret rear door agreements that betrayed both Sindh’s water rights and Baluchistan’s mineral wealth.
PTI’s central information secretary, Sheikh Waqas Akram said that the KP government led by PTI will firmly defend the mineral wealth of the province as an inalienable right of its people.
He said that the provincial government would never commit to the legitimate property of the people of mineral resources.
He stressed that the proposed mineral bill would only advance after the integral deliberations and the final approval of the founder of PTI Imran Khan.
Waqas said that PPP and PML-N were two faces of the same currency, willing to “sacrifice national interests and loot the country’s resources to serve their acquired political interests and personal financial gains.”
He alleged that the leadership of PPP and PML-N was hand in hand and equally complicit to cause catastrophic damage to Pakistan’s political, social and economic fabric.
