Peshawar:
Serious differences have emerged within the Committee of Internal Responsibility of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) on the clean merger granted to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Babar Salem Swati regarding accusations of corruption and illegal recruitment.
The members of the Committee, former governor Shah Farman and Mosaddiq Abbasi, have expressed concerns after a report by the Committee’s Committee Anwar appeared in the media. The report declared Babar Salem Swati innocent of the accusations.
The responsibility committee had previously sent a questionnaire to the speaker about the complaints of illegal appointments in the KP Assembly. Swati presented his written response to the committee.
However, the Qazi Anwar report, based on the speaker’s responses, appeared in the media and clarified it of any irregularity, which caused strong reservations of other members of the committee.
The sources told The Express PAkGazette that the three members of the PTI internal responsibility committee did not agree with each other in the report.
They said that the report that appeared in the media has not been issued by the committee but by a committee member. According to sources, internal reports in such cases are not made public, but are sent directly to the head of the party.
The report had to be sent by the committee to Imran Khan, which was made public prematurely.
On the other hand, a committee member said he could not comment on the report at this time. This issue will be discussed only after consulting the founding president.
He said that this committee was formed by the founding president, and that the report of each matter will also be presented.
The report can be called an official report when the three members of the Committee sign and a report from a member could be called their personal opinion.
