Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the Punjab Police and the Department of Terrorism (CTD) for his successful operation against terrorists in Makarwal, Mianwali, describing him as “significant success” in the ongoing war on Pakistan against terrorism.
In a declaration of Islamabad on Monday, he praised the courage and professionalism of the security forces, which eliminated more than ten terrorists in an operation based on high -risk intelligence.
“By sending more than 10 Khawarij terrorists to hell, the Punjab and CTD police have demonstrated an exceptional resolution,” he said.
When qualifying the action as a tactical and symbolic victory, Naqvi said that the operation had delivered a strong warning to anti-state elements that threaten national peace and security. He emphasized the importance of such rapid responses to safeguard innocent lives and maintain long -term stability.
“I am proud of the courage of the officers. Their efforts are really commendable,” he said, while reiterating the government’s commitment to provide full support and resources to the agencies of application of the law to combat terrorism.
Security has been tightened even more in Mianwali and its surroundings after the operation. Officials have confirmed that intelligence -based operations will continue to dismantle the terrorist networks operating in the region.
