Imran will not move to ensure an agreement, says Aye

The opposition leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, has said that the founder of PTI Incarceado, Imran Khan, does not seek an agreement or accept any indulgence, declaring him already other leaders of PTI detained as political prisoners.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad on Monday, he said that PTI’s leadership, including the founder of the imprisoned party, is being arrested for political reasons. “There have even been cases of robbery of cookies against me,” he said.

“We are part of the State, but the definition of ‘State’ promoted by current rulers is completely different,” he lamented.

He criticized what he described as the distorted understanding of statement, urging opponents to read the Constitution to understand the concept of the State. “Pakistan is not a difficult state because there is no rule of law here. The Jungle Law prevails.”

Omar Ayub emphasized that Imran Khan does not seek or accept an agreement or concession. He also denounced the politicization of the sisters of the leader prison, saying that they only get involved in family visits, not in political activity.

Meanwhile, PTI Senior leaders have presented two separated lists of visitors, one for legal representatives and another for family members, to the Adina prison authorities before a scheduled meeting with Imran.

According to the spokesman of the Niazullah Niazi party, the lists include 12 names in total: six legal representatives and six family members.
