- A filter states that the iPhone 17 Pro could be sold in a blue sky tone
- However, alternative colors are also apparently being considered
- This source has presented several possible colors of iPhone 17 Pro in recent months, but it seems that we will only see one of these, if any
While we have a good idea of many of the probable specifications of iPhone 17 Pro, we are much less sure in which colors will be sold and the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be sold. However, now a new color candidate has emerged, with Sky blue apparently considering Apple.
This is according to the Majin BU filtration (through Apple Insider), who states that, according to “sources close to the supply chain”, several colors are being considered, but the blue of the sky is apparently the favorite.
Of course, you can buy these phones in more than one color, but Apple only changed a tone when moving from the iPhone 15 Pro to iPhone 16 Pro, so it is possible that the same thing happens again for the iPhone 17 Pro.
In which case, the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be available in most of the following tones: Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium and Desert Titanium, with one of them changed to a new color, which might be sky blue.
You can see how this sky blue tone can be seen, since you can get the MacBook Air (2025) in the same color: it is a pale and discreet blue that looks intelligent enough to fit with the typical Apple pro color schemes.
Many color claims
Said all this, we would still take this last claim with a pinch of salt, since although BU has been just before, they have a mixed history.
This is also not the first time that they talk about possible colors of the iPhone 17 Pro. In September, they affirmed that we could see a blue titanium, purple titanium or titanium green tone. Then, in October, they said that Apple was choosing between bluish green titanium, green titanium and dark green titanium. Now, it is apparently blue, what we will probably see.
There is some overlap in these leaks: after all, titanium blue and sky blue could be one and the same. But with all these possibilities presented, it is difficult to take any of them too seriously, at least until another source corroborates one of these leaks.
