- Wahoo is launching its popular Kickr career to more territories
- It will be launched in the United Kingdom, some European countries and the EAU this summer
- Includes an innovative Runfree mode that adjusts the speed in its path
One of the most exciting running ribbons in recent years, Wahoo Kickr Run, is expanding to more countries, with a launch in the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany and the EAU for this summer.
Wahoo is normally a brand associated with the best heart rate monitors in the market, however, the Kickr Run is a true turner and a set of features to rival the best running tapes on the market.
In his heart it is an innovative characteristic that Wahoo calls Runfree mode. A flight time sensor (the same technology that you will find in the cameras of the best iPhones) can measure its passage and rhythm, adjusting the speed of the belt in real time to simulate the freedom to run outdoors.
The running tape can also automatically adjust the speed and inclination so that they coincide with training or environments, and works with the Wahoo application, Zwift Run and more.
The Kickr race now also has a new route simulation function that allows you to train real world courses inside, including events and their own previous races.
Wahoo’s Kickr Run: Details
To replicate the outdoor race, the Kickr race has a lateral inclination functionality that simulates the movement on the side of the outdoor race, and there is support for a rhythm of up to 4 minutes.
Other excellent characteristics include an integrated shelf for a laptop or tablet, USB-C load and even Ethernet connectivity.
Wahoo says that the Kickr Run will launch in the United Kingdom on July 15. It will be available in Austria/Germany on August 18, followed by a launch of August 26 in the EAU.
However, the price has not been confirmed, the American model is sold at $ 4,999, just over £ 3,700.
Wahoo says that the running tape will get its first showcase from the United Kingdom in the London Marathon Expo from April 23 to 26, so that is the place to be if you want to try before buying.
