According to the reports, Tennessee’s Titans will not change general selection number 1 in the NFL draft before the first round on Thursday.

The Titans had interested teams, but according to NFL Network, “they never opened the door” to get out of the upper selection.

It is widely expected that the Titans select the Miami Cam Ward field with the general selection number 1 to start the draft.

Ward transferred from the state of Washington to Miami before the 2024 season, and had a great season in his solo year with the hurricanes.

Miami was 10-3 last season, and Ward was sensational. He completed 67.2% of his passes for 4,313 yards, and led the ACC with 39 TouchDowns passing while throwing seven interceptions.

Ward has suggested that it will be selected with the superior selection in the NFL draft. While playing Fortnite in a live broadcast, he mentioned some Titans players as one of the best in the league in his position.

Last season, the Titans ended 3-14 in the first season of Brian Callahan as a chief coach.

Upon entering the season, the team expected the selection of the second round of 2023 Will Levis to jump after nine games began as a field marshal in his rookie year and showed some promise.

However, Levis played badly when the team was 2-10 in its 12 openings. He completed 63.1% of his passes for 2,091 yards and launched 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. While Levis continued to fight, it became evident that they would be on the market during a field marshal this low season.

If the Titans really select Ward, they hope to help design a change and become the field marshal of the team franchise.
