Brayan Rocchio was hitting alone .222 entering Monday night, but he left 2 by 2 with a simple RBI that resulted in good luck.
The Cleveland Guardians Campocorto reached the dish in the fourth entrance with a man in third place when he broke his bat in a Clarke Schmidt launch.
The ball passed beyond Jazz Chisholm Jr. in the second base, which crouched in the last second when a great piece of the bat was also directed in its direction.

According to Baseball Savant, the ball left Rocchio’s bat to only 64.8 mph, which is not exactly ideal. But it is a hard line unit in the box score.
He was asked Chisholm about the work, and kept it quite overwhelming.
“I want to make every game for my boy, but at the same time, you don’t want to die,” Chisholm said.

“You have an acute object on your way. I have seen the boys who stab with broken bats in person, so I know how serious the injury can be. The most difficult thing to do as a baseball at this time is to stay in the field. So at the same time, we have to protect ourselves when we are playing there, especially when things are happening.”
Chisholm said he was beaten in the calf with pieces of a broken bat in the minors.
“That is why I am a little more cautious about pursuing balls when the bat is on the same lane,” he added.

Chisholm later redeemed with his seventh homer of the year, which is more tied in the New York Yankees with no less than Aaron Judge. But the return of the Yankees fell short when they lost, 6-4, before the team they defeated in the American League championship series last year.
