The professional driver Katherine Legge has done a lot to leave her brand in the sport of car races.
She has the fastest classification time record for a woman in Indianapolis 500. She was the first woman to win an open wheel race in North America. She was also the first woman to be included in the Long Beach Motorsports Walk of Fame.

But the British pilot revealed in an episode of Podcast that received “death threats” from fans after it was involved in an accident during the Nascar Xfinity series race in Rockingham last weekend. The incident also involved veteran driver Kasey Kahne.
“Let me be very clear, I am here to compete and I am here to compete, and I will not tolerate any of these threats to my security or my dignity, whether I am on its way or outside of it,” Legge said during the episode “Accelerator therapy.”
He added that “the inappropriate comments of the social networks that I have received are not only disturbing, they are unacceptable.”
Legge became the first woman in seven years to start in a Copa Nascar race when he arrived in the field in Phoenix. The Xfinity series race was his second of the season. It was pushed to the JJ Yeley car while they started it from the initial network due to the property points.

Legge moved from the rhythm of the race when William Sawalich got into the back of his vehicle and sent him by turning. Kahne had nowhere to go and ended up running towards her at the bottom of the track in curve 1. Legge explained that she was hit too strong, which turned her.
As for the comments of social networks, Legge backed away the statements that it was a “dei rental” or something less than a single “trick” that really did not win its place.

“I’ve earned my seat on that racing track,” Legge said. “I have worked as hard as any of the other pilots, and I have been competing professionally for the past 20 years. I am 100% sure that the teams that used me, without me bringing any sponsorship money for most of those 20 years, did not do it as a DEI, or a gimmick, or anything else. It’s because I can drive a career car.”
Legge finished in 36 in Rockingham. The best ending in the Xfinity series was 14 in Road America in Wisconsin in 2018.
