It was time for a change for Patrick Mahomes.
In February, after years of showing off his curly firm Mohawk, Mahomes changed him shortening the top a ton, with a simple trimmed style with a fading on the side.
The Barber of Mohames, Dejuan Bonds, said he thought that “frustration” went in motion, but Mohamses said he had actually maintained the appearance more due to superstition.

“I wanted to do it for a while, but it was one of those superstitions. I kept winning the Super Bowl, which is a good thing, but I didn’t want to cut my hair while I did,” Mohamses told the media on Thursday.
But, whether they won another Lombardi trophy or not, it was time to change it no matter what.
“I told everyone during the season they win or lose, if we win three in a row or if we lose, I am cutting my hair like that is enough. I am very excited. I have looked at some videos last year and I cannot believe that you let me keep that diaper hair for so long, as I look much better now with short hair, so I will keep it in the future.”

Mahomes had his old look eight years ago when he was preparing for the NFL draft. The tenth selection of the 2017 NFL Draft was reflected in his Draft Day, so he admitted that he was “nervous.”
