NFL Draft Rumors: Joe Flacco ‘Waiting’ Browns Tome QB

The Cleveland Browns Campo Marshal Joe Flacco can be the head of week 1 once the 2025 season begins if Deshaun Watson has not returned in the time to take the field.

At the time to start before the NFL draft begins, Flacco appeared in “Fox & Friends” and asked if he would be disappointed or if he hoped that Cleveland would take a field marshal in the draft.

“I’m waiting, I think everyone expects them to take a field marshal and it’s just part of the game,” Flacco said. “Each team is looking to get that next guy and make their team as good as possible for the future and that is part of that.”

CAM WARD, Shedeur Sanders and Jaxson Dart have been the most commented field marshal in the Draft group that enter the event. Flacco did not specify when he thought the Browns would take it.

Ward is anything but a lock to go to the Tennessee Titans, who have the number 1 team. The Browns have the selection No. 2 and could end with Shedeur Sanders. The Pak Gazette Digital Mock Draft predicted that the Browns who took the winner of the Heisman Travis Hunter trophy.

Flacco admitted that he is not watching exactly the tape of any of the incoming rookies.

“I do not have much opportunity to look at these guys. Man, at 40 and with young children, I am not sitting on the couch on Saturdays, since I often see university football,” he said. “I know that a lot to look at these guys and, for any reason, you never know if you are going to hit or not. But these guys have worked hard to get where they are. They deserve a lot of respect to do that.”

Flacco was the number 18 of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.

He took the Ravens to a Super Bowl in 2012. Once he finished his time with the Ravens, he played for the Denver Broncos, the New York and Indianapolis Colts jets. He is in his second period with the Browns.

Flacco has 257 Touchdown passes in his career and 45,697 yards.
