- Photos of PowerColor Rx 9070 GRE have been seen
- This suggests that these graphics cards could arrive soon
- It also seems to refute other recent rumors of a delay to the fourth quarter of 2025 for GRE
The recent bucu bucket bucket suggested that if AMD has a planned RX 9070 GRE, this graphics card could be delayed for a long time, but now it seems that this may not be the case.
Naturally, this is only a rumor, as is the supposed delay of RX 9070 GRE, and in fact the very existence of such a joint, but in this case we have photographic evidence.
Even so, add the seasoning as appropriate, but Videcardz has presented us with some apparent images of the Powercolo RX 9070 GRE. Two models are shown, the Red Devil and Reaper, and we can see the boxes and graphics cards themselves.
The boards are dead bells for the same RX 9070 XT models of PowerColor, which is not a surprise. However, the most revealing detail in the images comes in the paintings, which have an apparent confirmation that this GPU will be loaded with 12 GB of video memory.
That is a lower amount of VRM compared to the other RX 9070 models, which are equipped with 16 GB. That marries the previous gossip that this incoming GPU will have 4 GB less on the path of Vram.
Videocardz provides us with more rumored specifications for this GPU, which include it to have 3,072 transmission processors (graphic nuclei), compared to 3,584 and 4,096 for RX 9070 and RX 9070 XX, respectively. The clock speeds are likely to be thrown between those two existing 9070 models, which reach an impulse of 2.8 GHz or it.
ANALYSIS: The rumors of launching the fourth quarter apparently discredited
With what seems to be photos of finished products, assuming that this escape is genuine, this seems to indicate that PowerColor is ready for an imminent launch of RX 9070 GRE.
As mentioned from the beginning, apparently it also refutes another recent rumor that claimed that AMD was planning to launch the RX 9070 GRE soon, but then thought better about that idea, and pushed the launch period of this graphics card until the end of 2025 (Q4).
To be fair, I found it difficult to believe that AMD would delay a possible launch of RX 9070 GRE until October 2025 (or maybe even later), no unless there are some problems involved in production (and the amount of RX 9070 models supply in general).
Even so, we must remember that, as Videcardz points out, this GPU will probably only launch in Asia, as with other GRE models. In the past, GRE’s versions have reached regions outside Asia, and there is a good possibility that this happens with 9070 GRE, but we would not refer to him.
In addition to a more affordable version of GRE’s RX 9070, there may also be a faster variant, a Navi 48 ‘Ultimate Gpu, if other rumors come out. (NAVI 48 is the chip that all these 9070 models use).
