The world leaders and thousands of faithful Catholics gathered in the Vatican on Saturday to attend the funeral of Pope Francis, who died Monday at the age of 88. The first Latin American pontiff, Francis, directed the Church for 12 years, during which he advocated the openness and social justice.
More than 250,000 people visited the Basilica of San Pedro to present their respects before the ceremony, attended by delegations from more than 150 countries.
