Pakistan’s defense minister, Khawaja Asif, has declared that Pakistan is ready to allow international investigation into the recent Pahalgam incident, which suggests that experts from European and neighbors are included.

Speaking on the scenario of the television program, Asif reiterated the offer of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for an impartial investigation, emphasizing that Pakistan has no objections to international supervision.

“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has made it clear: let the international community investigate the incident of Pahalgam and verify the credibility of the statements of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Asif said. He praised the recent discourse of the Prime Minister as integral, addressing all the relevant issues.

Asif emphasized that European nations, neighboring countries and even members of the UN Security Council could be invited to supervise the research process to guarantee transparency. He also highlighted China’s crucial role, noting that Beijing shares borders with India and Pakistan and has bets on the subject of Kashmir. Asif said that Kashmir conflict is a colonial legacy left by Great Britain, which suggests that the United Kingdom should also be involved in the analysis of the matter.

Criticizing the Indian government, Khawaja Asif commented that even Indian citizens no longer trust Prime Minister Modi. “Modi’s credibility is made of Jirons; he is manipulating the story of Pahalgam to obtain political profits before the elections,” said Asif, and pointed out that the Indian government has not yet provided credible evidence on the incident.

He accused Modi of manufacturing stories for electoral benefits, comparing the current situation with past false flag operations, including pulwama attack. Asif alleged that Modi had previously prompted violence against SIJS, Christians and other minorities in India to consolidate support between extremist Hindu voters.

The defense minister went further, accusing India of exporting terrorism to countries such as Canada and the United States.

Concluding his comments, Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan is fully prepared to defend himself against any aggression. “We are not only 100 percent but 200 percent ready to protect each centimeter from our land. We have no aggressive intentions, but any act of aggression will meet a strong response,” he said.
