Amid augmented tensions between Pakistan and India, the vigilant operations of the Pakistan Navy, according to the reports, forced an Indian aircraft carrier to retire close to Pakistani waters, said Express News.
According to security sources, India had deployed its aircraft carrier, Ins Vikrant, to the North Sea of Arabia on April 23, in response to the recent escalation between the two countries.
However, after the persistent and effective patrol for the Navy of Pakistan, the Indian ship retired. Satellite images confirm that Ins Vikrant returned to the Indian port of Karwar after spending a few days at sea.
The deployment and posterior withdrawal highlight the growing military posture in the region amid fragile relations between the two neighbors with nuclear weapons. Neither Pakistan nor India have officially commented on the redistribution reported.
