The Atlanta Braves have opted for gardener Jarred Kelenic to Triple-A, approximately one week after being the center of controversy at the Club House.
Ronald Acuña Jr., the star gardener of Los Bravos, made an exception to the response of Manager Brian Snitker to a journalist after the pattern did not rebuke Kelenic due to lack of hustle during the team’s team game.
Kelenic broke a baseball ball to the right garden, and left the batter box as if it were a home run. But, when he hit the top of the wall and stayed inside the stadium, he tried to convert what should have been a single double.

Kelenic was expelled in the second base, where he would probably have had a double standing if he had not jumped out of the box.
After the game, Snitker did not understand the journalist’s question about Kelenic’s discipline, which led Acuña to express his opinion about X.
“If it were me, they would get me out of the game,” he wrote.

Acuña then eliminated the publication, but many people saw it and brought it to Snitker.
For the double standard publication of Acuña, it has history on its side.

In 2019, Snitker put him in search of mishaps in the bases, when he did the same as Kelenic. However, Acuña decided to stay in the first base after realizing that the ball did not go as expected.
“He didn’t run,” Snitker said at that time, through ESPN. “You have to run. It will not be acceptable here.”
Now, Kelenic’s degradation to Triple-A Gwinnett is not directly correlated with its lack of hustle, but rather its lack of production to begin the 2025 season. It is hitting alone .167 with a .531 OPS in 65 appearances on the dish so far.
Once one of the best MLB prospects with the New York Mets, Kelenic has not had the best moment in the greats, which began with Seattle sailors as part of the exchange of the Mets, Edwin Díaz, and former Met Robinson Cano.

He hit alone .204 with 32 homers and 109 races promoted in three seasons with Seattle before being changed to Atlanta before the 2024 season.
