Truth Social, the social media platform owned by Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT), owned by the majority by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, is considering launching a cryptocurrency.
“As part of our rewards program, we are exploring the introduction of a useful token with a digital truth wallet that can initially be used to pay the real+subscription costs, and then apply to other products and services in the truth of the ecosphere,” said the company in a letter to its shareholders on Tuesday.
Djt barely reacted to the news; The action has dropped 0.52% in trade off hours.
The company is also looking for the launch of contributing funds in the stock market (ETF) that will combine actions with cryptocurrencies, the repeated letter.
Trump’s entourage has launched a panoply of cryptographic products over the years, including Memecoins, Nft Collections and a Defi protocol.
