After Shedeur Sanders fell from the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday, President Donald Trump immersed the situation in the political kingdom on Friday afternoon.
Trump’s social post by calling the NFL owners “stupid” for not writing Sanders and asking that quarterback be “immediately chosen” became one of the most unexpected moments of an unprecedented draft drop.
Sanders was finally chosen “immediately” as Trump ordered, since the room left the second and third round later on Friday night. Sanders did not end up being taken until the fifth round on Saturday, with the 144th selection of the Cleveland Browns.
Even so, Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, took the freedom to prove Trump’s position for Sanders to be chosen.
“All I will say is that the president issued a statement and some rounds later was recruited. Then, I think the facts speak for themselves now,” Leavitt told journalists on Monday.
However, the famous NFL Leight Steinberg agent is not so fast to prove Trump for helping Sander to be taken.
“I would like to be, in a very divided country where there are extreme opinions on both sides of the spectrum, as political as possible,” Steinberg told Fox Digital about what would be his reaction if Trump asked that one of his clients be recruited.

Steinberg, who has represented a record of eight players taken with the first general selection in the NFL Draft, does not believe that Trump’s post has had a great impact on the result of the Sanders draft.
“I don’t believe it because the teams are closely focused on their war rooms throughout the country, and they know who they want, and I don’t see a team that will degrade it due to the participation of a political figure,” Steinberg said.
Even so, Steinberg believes that Trump rose the scope of the situation in terms of advertising.
“He certainly did it because he involved the entire segment of the public that follows the president but who otherwise could not be aware of what was happening,” said Steinberg.
In addition, an unexpected benefit for Sanders can reach more attention, even if he did not help his draft stock.
Steinberg said he believes that Trump’s praise to the Campo Marshal will finally improve Sanders’ reputation value and his commercialization as an NFL professional in the future, now that he finally has a team.
It was projected that Sanders would compete for the superior general selection in the draft and will be presumed as the head of a team immediately.

However, Sanders reports interviewing badly with teams and concerns of rumored characters arose in the months and weeks prior to the Draft, and finally suffered an unprecedented fall to the fifth round.
Steinberg himself was surprised, since he expected Sanders to be chosen in the second round. The agent, who has represented athletes for more than 50 years, says that the Sanders draft slide was the most surprising Draft slide he has seen.

“The players are prepared for the questions to be asked and the player advances the right attitude, which is that they need to be safe but not arrogant.”

Steinberg also says that he would tell a field seafood client to reduce social networks activity and try to gain advertising if he felt he had become too much, if he had that client.
“Any sense that it would be an atmosphere of circus for the team that recruited it would not be something they would like for their culture,” said Steinberg.
“Deion Sanders is great, but the way they used social networks expressed concerns that this would not be a discreet team player, a humble player who enters a team, who could have influenced someone.”
Even so, Steinberg believes that Sanders is still equipped to have a successful career in the NFL, and believes that he can compete for the position of seafood of the team holding as soon as his rookie year.
