You can see the rumored and forecast Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the table above, but the biggest and most exciting update that we could get at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a new 200MP main camera.
This would replace the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 50MP main camera, and it is likely to be the same sensor that is found in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
We have heard this statement several times, so there is a good possibility of happening, and it would be a very desirable update, since the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, 5 and 6 have had 50MP main cameras.
Also in the front of the camera, it has been reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could have a low -show camera updated. The source does not specify what these improvements will be, but the Galaxy Z Fold 6 only has one of 4MP, so there will be more megapixels.
However, according to one source, the other rear cameras of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will not be updated, which means that we would see a return of the ultra-wide and 10MP teleobjective of Z fold 6 (with 3X optical zoom).
Going to the screens, and these could be in an update, or at least one increase in size, with sources that suggest that the main screen of the Z FOLD 7 could be 8 or 8.2 inches, and the cover screen could be 6.5 inches. That is more than 7.6 and 6.3 inches respectively in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
There is still no word about the resolution, but we would expect them to coincide or overcome the Z FOLD 6, which means a resolution of at least 1856 x 2160 for the folding screen and at least 968 x 2376 for the deck screen. We would also expect both screens to have an 120 Hz update rate, since that is the case in the current model.
The other great update that we expect in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is its set of chips, with reports that suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite will be used.
That is the chipset that you will find in the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, and it is exactly what we would expect to see, since it is the successor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 used by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
A new chipset could be bound by a larger steam chamber, so performance can obtain great impulse. However, we do not expect an increase in RAM, with multiple sources that point to 12 GB again. According to reports, storage also remains the same, with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB models supposedly planned.
Finally, there is the battery, and unfortunately it is not believed that it increases in size either, with a 4,400 mAh battery with tip for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. However, the screen is apparently more efficient, which could lead to a better battery life, even if the battery itself is not larger this year.
We have not heard at what speed the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could load, but the Galaxy Z Fold 6 admits a 25W and 15W Wireless wired load, so we would expect at least that.
