North Carolina soccer coach Bill Belichick broke his silence on Wednesday after a television interview caused a violent reaction to him and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
Belichick appeared in “CBS News Sunday Morning” and asked him a question about how he and Hudson met. Belichick was promoting his new book in which he describes Hudson as his “creative muse.” Naturally, some questions about their relationship emerged. When the interviewer Tony Dokoupil asked how they met, Hudson closed the question.

The interaction caused a ton of reaction to the couple. Belichick tried to cancel everything in his statement.
“I agreed to speak with ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ to promote my new book, ‘The art of winning – lessons of my life in football’. Before this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist in Simon & Schuster that any promotional interview in which I participated would accept to focus only on the content of the book,” he said.
Belichick said he was “surprised” to get the questions about her relationship and when Hudson entered, she was doing her job. Then he accused CBS of creating a “false narrative” with the so -called “selectively edited clips.”

Jordon Hudson Lanza Fiery Bill Belichick email about the coverage of the media book after a television interview scrutinized
“Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. It surprised me when unrelated issues were introduced, and repeatedly expressed the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers who preferred to maintain the conversation focused on the book,” he said. “After this happened several times, Jordon, with whom I share a personal and professional relationship, I intervened to reiterate that point to help focus the discussion. She was not diverting any specific questions or topic, but simply doing her work to ensure that the interview remained on the way. Some of the clips make it look like we were avoiding the question of the question of 2021.
“The last eight -minute segment does not reflect the productive 35 -minute conversation that we had, which covered a wide range of issues related to my career. Instead, it presents clips and is selectively left a few minutes from the interview to suggest a false narrative: that Jordon was trying to control the conversation, which simply is not true.”
Pak Gazette Digital contacted CBS to comment.
Belichick, 73, and Hudson, 24, have been linked since last year. They have seen her with him in several events, including the honors of the February NFL.
