The greats of wrestling Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff associated with the legendary coach Izzy Martínez to launch a real American freestyle in the hope of bringing the sport to a conventional audience as its popularity continues to grow in the United States.
Hogan and Bischoff have been friends for a long time who helped set the world of sports entertainment when they created the new world order in the wrestling of the world championship and surpassed the world’s struggle federation in the Ratings War for more than 80 weeks. The two are contributing their narration approach to the center of the mat for this unique opportunity.

“The Hulkster,” Digital explained to Pak Gazette that, when he and his commercial partner, Chad Bronstein, began to explore the idea of creating a bigger place for free wrestling of a freestyle, they realized that there was “more meat in the bone” and the transmission landscape was hungry for more live sports.
“When we started to dig, we found the athletes (we were) very interested. We found a partner who really had influence in that NCAA champions, a gold medalist who has trained almost all of them in the world that is someone and decided to start continuing with that idea,” Hogan said. “And once Chad and I began to enter really deep waters, I said: ‘Chico, we have to call Eric Bischoff’ because the things of production and television and he knowing the world of amateur wrestling, became the perfect partner to jump with us.”
Bischoff, although known for his work at Sports Entertainment, fought at high school in free and Greco -Roman style disciplines. He also obtained his black belt in martial arts.
He said that when he first sat with Hogan and Bronstein about the idea of a free wrestling league, the “bulbs” began to sound in their head.
“We have been very successful together. We have learned a lot together. We have had many successes. We have had some challenges. We have gone through everything, and when you go through that kind of war business in terms of someone and you go out of that and you are still waiting to do business with them again, that is a special relationship.”
Bischoff said the amateur struggle is “incredibly popular” in the United States and that the women’s sport side is growing faster than the side of men.

“It is a completely unattended sport, which means that there is no professional league that allows these fans to evolve as they would in any other sport and it is such a neglected market, and I know that having spent a little time in wrestling when they were children, these are unique athletes,” he said.
“Each athlete is committed, they have to be disciplined, but there is something in individual sports, particularly wrestling, it is only a different type of routine and you have to be connected a bit different to succeed in it.”

Bischoff said he and Hogan plan to show them in a way that no one has been able to do before.
Hogan and Bischoff used nostalgia for the world of sport to speak days before the Royal American free announcement. They made an old Nwo vignette and made fun of a third man who would join them in this effort. It was revealed that the third man was Martínez.
Martínez is one of the most consummated fighting coaches in the US. It was 27-0 in the 157-pound division in North Idaho College. He trained several Americans from the NCAA, as well as the stars of UFC Holly Holm, Yair Rodríguez and Jon Jones.
The Olympic silver medalist Kennedy Blades, another Martínez student, is among the fighters on the list. Real American Freestyle said in a press release that Ben Askren, David Carr and Zahid Valencia will also be included.
“I have been athlete and coach in the wrestling sport, and I could not be more proud than the true American free style team has built,” added Martínez, operations director, in the press release. “Until now, the fighters have not had the opportunity to find a professional career, since adequate funds or attention were not given. This league will provide them with a platform to not only do that, but also to develop their skills, brand and legacy”
Real American Freestyle also has the support of Left Lane Capital, something that the free wrestling leagues had never had before. Real American Beer, Hogan’s drink brand, is among the sponsors. Cassius was also appointed one of the investors in the League.
The League said Wrestling recently had the highest percentage of athletes among the main high school sports for children’s teams, according to a 2024 study.

Hogan told Pak Gazette Digital that the president has a permanent invitation for the opening night on August 30 in Cleveland.
“Surely it’s, brother,” said Hogan. “We really hope it comes. He simply ignited me when I saw him hug the American athletes who won. It was surprising that he was interested.”
Hogan and Bischoff agreed that time is everything and now is the right time to attract a unattended audience.
